Participation on any competitive gymnastics team requires a tremendous commitment from both the gymnast and her family. At Five-Star, we pride ourselves in providing a crystal clear explanation of all time obligations, physical requirements, gymnast/family dedication, and financial responsibilities necessary for participation on team prior to the tryout date. We host an informative meeting each May to educate families who may be interested in having their gymnast try out for our team in June. To this end, we have received much praise from our current and former team families who tell us that this meeting provided valuable information and was helpful in determining their final decision regarding USAG/USAIGC team tryouts.
Participation on Five-Star's USAG and USAIGC teams is contingent upon the results of our annual team tryout. If you are selected for our either of our competitive teams, please understand that you are required to attend ALL scheduled practice sessions over the summer. Summer practice sessions occur Monday-Friday during the day. TEAM IS A 12-MONTH COMMITMENT. If you have not received an email confirming your child's eligibility to join USAG or USAIGC teams, please do not register for any of the classes offered on this team page.
